Obituary of Rhonda Elizabeth Trickler
Please share a memory of Rhonda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rhonda Elizabeth Trickler was born in Drumright, Oklahoma, December 7, 1956, to parents Jerry and Doris Turner. She went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2022, at the age of 65.
Rhonda graduated from Webster High School in 1975. She worked as a division orders supervisor in the Petroleum industry.
Rhonda loved Jesus & worked in toddlers’ class at Word of Life church. Sometimes Holly & Hayley would help in toddlers’ class just to hang out with Namaw. She graduated from School of Life in 1997. She was generous & kind. If someone complimented a piece of jewelry she was wearing, she would normally offer it to them. Her mom Doris ran the clothing ministry at her church in Hugo; Rhonda & Daniel both inherited her beautiful “generosity” gene. She wanted kids to have a full belly at her house. She babysat her granddaughter Hayley for a few years before preschool. Rhonda could not only sing beautifully, she could also harmonize. She was left-handed, just like her son Daniel. She loved fishing, reading, gardening, bird watching, and looking for cool rocks & fossils, just like her kids.
Her son-in-law Larry, whom she loved & respected, said: She was a true professional, she would strive for perfection in every job she did, no matter how big or small. She didn’t want someone to have to correct her work. She was also fiercely protective of her loved ones.
From her sister-in-law Valerie: Rhonda moved into Mark's home (which they built together) in 2020 to be his full-time caregiver. She made Mark's wellbeing her top priority. Even though they were divorced, Rhonda upheld the marriage vow “til death do us part,” and I will always be thankful for her devotion to Mark.
Rhonda is survived by her daughter Holly Fournier & husband Larry, granddaughter Hayley Hendershott, son Daniel Trickler, granddaughters Ocie & Andi, Daniel`s father Jeremy Trickler, sister Tina Trickler & husband JD, sister Laura Philkoff & husband Scott, nieces & nephew: Terra Schultheis, Jessey Lile, Heather Jenkins & Zachary Philkoff.
She was preceded in death by father Jerry Turner, mother Doris Bowlin, sister Kelly Walker, nephew Jarrod Wolfe, first husband Johnny Duvelow & second husband & Holly`s father Mark Fisher.
