Obituary of Norma Lee Burditt

Please share a memory of Norma to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Norma Lee Burditt was born to A.G. and Vera Mooney on October 9th, 1941, at Non, Oklahoma. She was called home by her Lord & Savior on February 28th, 2022. She was 80 years old. She married the love of her life, Calvin Burditt, on April 28, 1962, in Non. She and Calvin were married for 38 loving years. They had two children: Greg, of Jenks, and Sharon, of Sapulpa. An incredibly hard-working, disciplined woman, Norma was a life-long homemaker. She cared deeply for and helped her neighbors, and served hundreds of people through her 20-plus years of ironing clothes in her home. Her homemade pies, peanut brittle and dressing were legendary! She was a great woman of God, and was one of a handful of brave pioneers who had a vision for a Free Will Baptist Church in Jenks in 1972; in fact, we here at Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church, owe her a debt that can never be repaid. She was especially fond of the children in the AWANA program, and loved serving in that ministry. Her ministry and legacy here will never be forgotten. She is survived by her children: Greg Burditt of Jenks, and Sharon Green, and husband, Ricky Green. Three sisters: Mary Guinn, of Coalgate, OK; Jo Ann Baldwin, of Eufala, Ok; and Brenda McDonald, of Gretty, OK. One brother: G.H. Mooney, of Stuart, OK. Five grandchildren: Calvin Burditt, Tate Green, Anna Morrow, Katie Thompson and Emily Morrow. Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband, and her parents. She also leaves behind many fellow Christians who look forward to seeing her again one day, and many friends who will always treasure her memory.
