Obituary of Wayne Richard Brown

Wayne R. Brown, 75, of Owasso, passed away March 8, 2022. Wayne was born in Oak Park, IL, to W.R. and Deloris Brown on October 16, 1946. He graduated in 1965 from Borger High School in Borger, TX. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1966-1970. He married Jamie Durham in 1984 in Amarillo, TX, before moving to the Tulsa area in 1987. He worked as an aviation mechanic, retiring from American Airlines in 2007. He was a lifelong Harley rider and motorcycle enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Jamie; two daughters, Debbie Brown of Amarillo and Sandy and Barry Rigel of New Braunfels, TX; a sister-in-law, Betty Grady of Amarillo; a cousin, Ray Brown of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; four great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
