Obituary of Paul Christian

Paul Aaron Christian always loved traveling. On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 10:20 a.m. Paul boarded his final flight and departed from this world for the trip of a lifetime. Take-off was smooth after years of waiting on the runway. Upon arrival at his final destination, Heaven’s Gate, Paul was greeted by his Heavenly Father and a host of family and friends Paul was born June 2, 1950, to Albert and Mary Christian in Wheeler, Texas. Paul was raised in Canadian, Texas, and graduated from Canadian High School in 1968. On October 6, 1984, he married the love of his life, Jana Richards Christian. Together Paul and Jana spent 37 wonderful years loving and growing their life together. Paul was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a wonderful “bapaw” who loved making memories with his family. He always treasured quality time with family and some of the best memories were made camping in the RV in Branson and relaxing at the beach in Mexico. Paul is survived by his wife, Jana Christian of Jenks, OK; his three children, Marte Christian & wife, Tammy Christian of Coweta, OK, Julie Pittman & husband, Spencer Pittman of Jenks, OK, and Holle Martin & husband, James Martin of Hanford, CA; his grandchildren, Kannon & Karlee Christian, Charlotte & Violet Pittman, and Austin, Shelby, & Page Martin; his brothers Joe Christian & wife, Vicki , and Mark Christian & wife, Karla, and a host of nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his father and mother, Albert and Mary Christian, and brother-in-law, Brian Richards. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 9, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Green Hill Funeral Home in Owasso, OK. Final Resting will be at Ramona City Cemetery in Ramona, Oklahoma.
