Chloie “Hazel” Boaz was born December 02, 1922, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to the late Molly Mae and William Robert Barrett. Hazel departed from this life on April 15, 2022, at the age of 99 years 4 month and 13 days.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Boaz in 2002 and their daughter, Karen Kay Boaz in 2009.
She is survived by her son, Leon Boaz and wife Erin; her daughter, Georgene Witham; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 6 Great-Great Grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Hazel and George Boaz were united in marriage on August 23, 1943. Together the raised three wonderful children. During the World War II she worked for Douglas Aircraft Company, later Wickham Packing Company, and then went on to retire from Liberty Glass Company.
The family would like to thank the Ranch Terrace Nursing Home and Compassus Hospice for the great care that they provided.
