Obituary of Mary Sue Maupin

Mary Maupin went home to Jesus on April 18, 2022, at the age of 60 years. Mary was born to Margaret Jonson and Donnie O’Shields on July 20, 1961, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a child, she loved to be with her family and enjoyed listening to music. She has five children that were her pride and joy. First born was Jim Maupin Jr. followed by Jodi Twist, Shannon Culbert, Sarah O’Shields, and Lisa O’Shields. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Mary also enjoyed music and movies. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God which she shared with those around her. Mary joins in heaven, her parents, Margaret Johnson and Donnie O’Shields; her brother, Jimmie Helton; and her grandson, Koda Twist. She leaves behind her five surviving children: Jim Maupin Jr., Jodi Twist, Shannon Culbert, Sarah O’Shields, and Lisa O’Shields; her brothers, Ronnie and Johnny O'Shields; her sisters, Penny Mattingly and Bengie Campbell; grandchildren: Shane Maupin, Josh Maupin, Savannah Maupin, Eric Twist, William Twist, Heavenly Tucker, Alijah Culbert, Julieanna O’Shields, and Hunter O’Shields; her great-grandson, Nickolas Parez; and many other loved ones.
