Van Alan Williams, age 76, passed away Wednesday April 27, 2022, after several years of failing health. He was born September 13, 1945, to O.L.L. (Bono) & Anna Vermell (Devore) Williams.
Van graduated from Cushing High School in 1963 and made his home there for many years before settling in Skiatook, where he raised 3 children, Cheri Brown, Bono Williams and Judd Williams. He was probably happiest the 10+ years he spent living in Fairmont where he was able to keep all the animals he loved to tend to, especially horses and dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his survivors include brothers Gary Williams and his wife Yvonne of Cushing and Greg Williams of Lone Grove and sister Sherrie Wyssmann and her husband Brad of Fairmont, the above-named Cheri and her husband Robert, Bono, and Judd and his wife Nicole, all of Skiatook, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
