James 'Jim' Lee Gosney was born in January of 1959 to Zeldena and James R. Gosney. He graduated from Jenks High School and went to work for American Airlines until retiring in 2019.
Jim passed away at his home on May 05, 2022 at the age of 63 years. He was a longtime resident of the Jenks / Broken Arrow area and worked 37 years at American Airlines. He married Laura Gosney and they had four children: Jessica, Joshua, Jamie, and Julie.
Jim is survived by his wife, Laura; his children, Jessica Moon (Kenny), Joshua Gosney (Michaela), Jamie Gosney, and Julie Gosney; six grandchildren; his mother, Zeldena Cooper; sisters, Adena Preglar and Cathy Cooper, brother, Allen Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of the Gosney family.
He was preceded in death by his dad, James R. Gosney; step-dad, Douglas Cooper; and a grandson, Jaxon.
