Obituary of Edward Loyal Rose

Edward Loye Rose was born in Natural Dam, Arkansas on August 1, 1931. He departed this life on May 12, 2022 at his home in Owasso.
In his younger years, Ed traveled around the United States working to support his family. He and his wife, Irma settled in Oklahoma with their 3 daughters. He spent many years working in the Plumbing & Pipefitting industry. While he retired, he never stopped working. Ed had an unmatched work ethic that earned him the nickname of General.
Ed is survived by his daughters, Vickie and Sandy, his son-in-laws, Eddie and Terry, 10 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 11 great great granchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Irma, his parents, Robert and Eulema, step-father, Lonnie, his daughter, Debbie, his brothers, Floyd, Lloyd, and Cecil, and sisters, Juanita, Zette, Lee, and Betty Jo.
Ed loved his family and considered them his greatest accomplishment. He was never happier than when he was surrounded by them. He was a wonderful story teller and enjoyed visiting. He will be loved and greatly missed by all who knew him. Heaven gained another beautiful angel.
