Obituary of Raymond Eugene Pyle

Please share a memory of Raymond to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Raymond “Ray” Pyle was born on March 28th, 1945 in Mounds, Oklahoma and went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 26th, 2022 with his family by his side, in his same home town. Ray graduated from Mounds High School in 1963 and went on to attended Northeastern State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Ray then enlisted and served in The United States Air Force and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. During that time, he met and married the love of his life, Mary. They then built a long and happy life of 50 years together with their two children, Leigh Ann & Jess and a mob of grandkids. Ray spent 20 years on the Mounds Volunteer Fire Department doing his part to keep the people and properties in and around his home town safe. He worked for IBM for 22 years and then finished up his career in I.T. and retired from QuikTrip Corporation. Ray’s favorite hobby, other than keeping a perfectly mowed lawn, was Bass fishing. He was in the T-Town Hooker’s Bass Club for many years and tournament fished the lakes all over Oklahoma. Ray wasn’t a loud or very outspoken man, but when he did have something to say, you would probably want to listen. He was a brilliant man who could build, program or fix just about anything. Our admiration is immeasurable. Ray was preceded in passing by his father, Kelly Pyle and his mother, Josephine Brown Pyle. Ray is survived by his wife Mary Pyle, his daughter Leigh Ann Pullig and her husband Kirk Pullig, his son Jess Pyle and his wife Laurie Pyle. Ray’s legacy is also carried on with his grandchildren, Chance Pyle and his wife Caitlyn, Bryce Pyle and his wife Jayde, Cade Pyle, Ally Rae Pyle, Mason Pyle, Madyson Pyle, Brandon Pullig, Brooke Pullig and his great grand babies Khloe Ramirez and Alayah Pyle. Ray was and will always be dearly loved and adored by his entire family. This world was a better place with him in it. You’ll be in our hearts until we see you again Pa . . .
