Obituary of Bobby Gene Richardson, Jr.
Bobby Gene Richardson Jr, 47, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully in his sleep, on June 21st 2022, after a short, but vigorous battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife, the love of his life and the only person who ever came close to keeping him in line, Sarah, his 2 bonus sons, Hunter and Gavin, his 3 fur daughters, Sweet Pea, KiKi, Princess Shi Thead and a granddaughter, Brinley. He is also survived by his little, big sister Marsia, whom he loved to pester and pick on and his newly found sister, Lynn, whom he looked forward to getting to know and making memories with. In addition to his immediate family, Bob leaves behind an incredible extended family of nephews, great nephews, a great niece and many, many friends.
He never met a stranger, that was a stranger - for long, whether it be of the 2 legged variety or, of the 4 legged kind - he loved them all and it showed in the things he did and said. He was always ready and willing to help anyone with anything, whether he was asked for help or not. He was also the type of guy who would always have your back. If you knew Bob, you knew you were loved, and chances are he told you so, probably not sober, but trust that the sentiment was the same.
Bob was a simple man, who loved bowling, beer and the Oklahoma Sooners, and in that order. He was a jokester and a prankster, with a mischievous smile and an infectious laugh to match. You either loved his almost always inappropriate, unrated and unfiltered humor or you didn't, either way, it was still funny to him. He knew how to have a good time and almost everybody who ever hung out with him had a good time too. Unless they didn't care for the aforementioned humor Bob possessed, in which case, they probably had a not-so-good time, while he laughed anyhow. He was also an avid opportune jump scarer, that relished whenever he succeeded, and was downright proud of himself, if he managed to make someone wet their pants too.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 10th at 2 pm at Andy B's bowling center 8711 S. Lewis Ave. Tulsa, Ok. Join us and bring your memories, a couple inappropriate jokes, roll a game or 2 and raise a glass to celebrate Bob's life.
