Obituary of Thelma Parthena Treadwell

Thelma Parthena Treadwell was born on October 9, 1934 to George and Lula Bebee in Okay, Oklahoma. On July 9, 2022 she passed from this life and celebrated a reunion in heaven with her husband, son, and many other loved ones. 

Thelma married the love of her life, Willie Lamont Treadwell on August 16, 1952 and they had four children, Ricky Lamont Treadwell, William Lee Treadwell, Ina Rose Evans, and Ronald Calvin Treadwell. The family settled down in west Tulsa where Thelma had a job serving as assistant manager at Southwood Country Club for many years. After work she spent her time serving as the treasurer of Kellyville Senior Citizen Center. 

She was also an active member of Crosswalk Fellowship Church and loved to read her bible. She and Willie enjoyed ministering to their grandchildren and showing them off on Sunday mornings. Together Thelma and Willie enjoyed playing dominos and working puzzles. 

Thelma was proceeded in death by her parents, her sisters Martha Bebee, Myrtle Waldrop, Cathy Knight, her husband Willie Treadwell, her son William Lee Treadwell, her son-in-law Mark Evans, her daughter-in-law Carrie Treadwell, her grandsons William Lee Treadwell Jr., and JW Treadwell. She is survived by her sister Evva Williams, children Ricky and Rosalind Treadwell, Ina Evans, Ronald Treadwell, Cynthia Chaney-Treadwell, Alfa Huffman, grandchildren Erek Treadwell, Starr Labrott, Travis Treadwell, Daniel Childers, Matt Huffman, Maggie Sellers, TJ Hart, Tiffany Capaldi, Kyndall Chronister, Erika Butler, and many great grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
