Obituary of Richard Dale Bishop

Richard Dale Bishop was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on July 19, 1959 to Billie Pauline Sloggett and Jimmy Richard Bishop. He passed away August 19, 2022 at the age of 63.

Richard graduated from Bristow High School in 1977. He began working for Preston Eastin on March 8, 1980 where he stayed for 42 years. Richard was a diligent and dedicated man. He loved taking care of and showing off the “Jungle” with Shelly, Mr. T, Franklin and his dog Willy. Richard lived for his late daughter Andrea Bishop and grandson Julian Bishop who he greatly adored.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Richard Bishop; son Jerame Dale Bishop; and daughter Andrea Michelle Bishop. He is survived by his mother Billie Pauline Craig; sister Connie Cochran and husband Mickey; sister Pamela and late husband Jeff Tufts; brother Mark Bishop and wife Lisa; brother Matthew Bishop; grandson Julian Bishop; 9 nieces and nephews as well as extended family and friends.

Richard’s legacy will be continued by his many family and friends. He was and will always be dearly loved and cherished by everyone that knew him.
