Obituary of Barbara Taylor

Please share a memory of Barbara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Barbara Jean Taylor, 54, of Mounds went to meet the Lord, February 23, 2010. She was born on December 10, 1955 to Ray Eugene Leffler and Lena Ann Leffler (nee Mitchell) her loving parents, who preceded her in death. Barbara was a devoted and loving "Momma" to Tiffany Taylor and Andrea Taylor, and an awesome "Meemaw" to Trenton Pierce, all of whom survive her, they were her heart and her life. Barbara is also survived by; brother; Ernie Leffler and his wife Leisa; sisters; Rita Slife and husband Denny, Rose Leffler and her companion Lloyd Graham; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, family and friends and her baby "Sadie" her cock-a-chihua-poo dog. Barbara worked for Bartlett-Collins Glass Company for over 31 years and was presently an associate for Wal-Mart in Sapulpa. She was a loyal and dependable employee. Barbara was avid in her work and took pride in doing it right and she had the respect of her co-workers. Barbara loved many, and touched the lives and hearts of many more. She will be greatly missed. You go girl, fly with the angels! I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one, I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun, of happy memories that I leave when life is done. Services will be Monday March 1, 2010 at 2:00pm at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Bixby Cemetery. The Taylor family has entrusted the care of the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
