Obituary of Ruby Mae Copeland

Ruby Mae Swaffer Copeland was born on February 3, 1938 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She was called home to our Lord on October 23, 2022.

Ruby loved spending time with her family, and she loved camping in Arkansas with her family. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. Ruby grew up in Arkansas and moved to Texas where she met her husband, Otis Copeland. They were married for 65 years. They moved to Oklahoma, and she worked at Bartlett Collins for several years until she stayed home to raise her daughter Edith. Ruby enjoyed fishing and eating catfish with her grandsons. She enjoyed bowling and walking at the park. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved spending weekends with her grandsons and would say the Lord’s Prayer with them at night.

Ruby was   proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Mary, and her brother Rudolph.

She is survived in life by her husband, Otis Copeland, her daughter Edith and husband Carl, her grandsons Dustin and wife Bryana, Clayton and Jocelyn, her great-grandsons Drake and Bennett Copeland, her brothers William, Robert, Truman and wife Ruby, Alen and wife Mary, Jimmy, and many nieces and nephews.
