Obituary of Delbert Dean Reed

Delbert Dean Reed, a resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, left this world Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Saint John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 70 years old. Delbert was born September 1, 1952 in Cushing, Oklahoma, and was the son of Delbert Robert Reed and Freeda Jean Blackburn Reed.  

Delbert Reed is survived by his wife Vickey Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma;  

his Children, Angie Reed of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Ryan Faulkner of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Jamie Reed of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Stacie Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Candace Reed of Alvarado, Texas; Lacy Reed of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; and Austin Hoover of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Delbert is also survived by his sons-in-law Nick Rankin of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and Bobby Roddy of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Additionally Delbert is survived by grandchildren Jasmine Faulkner of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Brooklyn Faulkner of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Shawbaw Brown of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Brooklynn Stevens of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Bradley Hood of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Dakota Koenig of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Zonu Brown of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Christopher Reed of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Faith Young of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Riley Rankin of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Isaiah Young of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Trevor Partridge of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Zander Curtis of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Navaeh Young of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Orville Rouse of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Delbert is also survived by his siblings Sharon Hunt of Wewoka, Oklahoma; Billy Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and Roy A. Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Zelda Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and Nieces Melissa Reed of Clinton, Iowa; Lydia Spears of Texarkana, Texas; as well as his nephews, Martin Hunt Jr of Texarkana, Texas; Robert Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Daniel Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Mike Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and Mark Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Delbert Dean Reed is preceded in death by his parents Delbert R. Reed and Freeda J. Blackburn Reed; siblings David L. Reed, Robert D. Reed, Charles W. Reed, Bobby J. Reed, Deloris A. Reed; his brother-n-law Hunt, Martin Hunt Sr, and his Uncle Harald Reed and Aunt Wilma J. Dalton Reed; and nephew Noah M. Reed.
