Obituary of Evelyn Jean Pitts

Evelyn Jean Pitts went home to be with her savior on Saturday, November 26, 2022.  She was born February 17, 1941 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to George and Nell Roy.   Evelyn graduated from Rogers High School and then completed Cosmetology School and worked for 25 plus years at the Saint Francis Beauty Shop, showing love, compassion, and kindness to all she touched in the hospital.  Evelyn was also very active with her church, going on mission trips with the church, and she loved to worship Jesus.   She was preceded in death by her father, George Lynn Roy, her mother, Nell Roy, her brother Douglas Lynn Roy Sr, and her daughter, Delores Jean Faulkner.  She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Ann Faulkner, Sandy Beth Sylvester, Lori Nell Stephens, and Jennifer Lynn Kent and her son, James Franklin Faulkner Jr.  Also by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and her beloved dog Daisy.   She was a bright light that touched many souls and will be greatly missed by all.
