Obituary of Judith Gail Dearinger

Judith Gail (Barton) Dearinger was born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1948 in Moody, Oklahoma to William Wayne and Melba Barton. She went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2022 at the age of 74.

Judy lived in Moody, Oklahoma, moved to Texas and then her family settled in Sand Springs, Oklahoma in 1951. She was one of 4 children. Judy attended Sand Springs Schools and in 1965 she met the love of her life, Ralph Dearinger. The couple married in 1966, raised 2 children and spent nearly 57 years together.

She was selfless and a giver. Always putting others before herself. She loved her family and enjoyed taking care of them. She would do anything she could for those that she loved. She enjoyed hosting family get-togethers and often spent days preparing and cooking for big family events. She was artistic and enjoyed arranging flowers, doing ceramics and was a fantastic seamstress, making clothes and other decorative items. Judy loved the Lord and memorized scripture. She not only memorized it, but she lived by it. She had a servant’s heart and loved helping out at church functions. She would not leave until everything was done.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents William and Melba Barton; father and mother-in-law Roy Lee and Marie Creamer; and son Eric Dearinger. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years Ralph Dearinger; daughter Alisha Dearinger; brothers Arthur and Doug Barton; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
