Obituary of Richard Allen Gast

In Loving Memory

Richard Allen Gast of Collinsville, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 24th, 2022. He passed peacefully with his four stepchildren at his bedside.

Richard lived a wonderful life doing the things he loved. Among many, a few were fishing, hunting, bull-riding, and rodeo roundup. Richard was a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War out of Germany in the Nuclear Weapon Unit in 1967 and 1968.

On November 4, 1976, Richard married the love of his life, Joann Morgan Gast, who has already gone on to meet the Lord, and has been waiting for Richard. Having missed only one Christmas together in all their married life, they are now together forever as they always planned.

Richard will be lovingly remembered and missed by his five children, Paula Rose, Rhonda Watkins, Joe Morgan, Darell Morgan, and Kimberly Twist; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, four living sisters, Patty Braun, Mary Ann McNeal, June Carter, and Junetta Janda, and one deceased sister, Nina Burley.

Richard will truly be missed by many.
