Obituary of Glenda Kay Pritchard

Glenda Kay (Bradley) Pritchard was born in Marble City, Oklahoma on May 3, 1939 to parents Frank and Lynn Bradley. She was the second of four children. Glenda passed away at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa December 26, 2022.

Glenda attended Marble City Grade School, Sallisaw High School, Draughn’s Business School, and Connors State College. She later studied at TCC, OU and TU. She married Paul Wayne Pritchard June 16, 1967 in Miami, Oklahoma and the couple spent the next 55 years together.

Glenda began her career in the Oil & Gas industry in 1959 and retired in 2015. She worked at Amoco from 1959 – 1971, Sate Fe Pipeline from 1971 – 1988, Texaco from 1989 – 1999 and Williams Company from 1999 – 2015. No stranger to work, Glenda began working at age 9 delivering newspapers, had a summer job at the Marble City Post Office at age 12, at age 15 and 16 she worked at Lotta Burger in Tulsa and also worked as a stenographer for District Attorney in Muskogee, at Spirit Bank in Sapulpa and for the Creek County Election Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lynn Bradley, brothers Bill and Ronnie Bradley, stepson Danny Pritchard and daughter-in-law Jennie Pritchard. She is survived by her husband Paul Pritchard, daughter Stacy Pritchard Harmon, stepson Scott Pritchard, daughter-in-law Kim Prichard, sister Peggy Pate, 5 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 4 great-granddaughters and 3 great-grandsons as well as numerous extended family and friends.
