Obituary of Christina Antrikin Rawdon

Christina was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on August 3, 1932 to Gladys and Jim Antrikin.  She left this earth to go to her heavenly home on February 4, 2023 at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 1 day. 

She was a member of the Kiefer First Baptist Church and she loved her Lord and Savior

She is preceded in death by her daughter who she loved deeply Mitzi Deann Rawdon, her two brothers who she loved dearly Gordon (Joe) Antrikin and Carl Joe (Buz) Antrikin and her Mother and Father 

She is survived by her husband Jim of 69 years, her daughter Toni Whisenhunt-Doug Parrish of Kiefer, her Grandson Chad-Kadrian Whisenhunt of Morrison, Colorado, her Grandson Scott Whisenhunt of Dallas, TX, her Great Grand Daughters Charlotte and Sophie Whisenhunt also of Morrison. Several Nieces and Nephews who she loved with all her heart.

She attended first grade at South Height Elementary in Sapulpa. The family then moved to Kiefer in 1941 where she attended school there from the 2nd to 11th grade. Then she returned to Sapulpa High School and graduated in 1952

She met her only love Jim at her brother Gordon's wedding to Mary Jane Pope at the Methodist Church in Kiefer, Oklahoma in 1951. They were married at the Phoenex Avenue Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK on Decemeber 19, 1953. 

Jim was in the Air Force and stationed at Holloman A.F.B at Alamogordo, New Mexico.  In 1956 they were transferred to San Bernadino, CA to Norton A.F.B. and were there for six years before moving back to Oklahoma to Tinker A.F.B. in 1962.  After her husbands' time in the service was up, they moved to Tulsa, OK and then to Kiefer, Oklahoma in April of 1963 and have resided there ever since.  

Mom and Dad owned and operated Rawdon's Grocery in Kiefer for 21 years.  

In her later years, she worked at the Francis Antrikin American Legion Post 205 bingo in Kiefer.  The Post was name after her Great Great Grandfather who was in the Revolutionary War.  She loved her Bingo family.

She was a Wife, Mother and Grandma that loved her family with her whole heart.  Always smiling and letting us know how much she loved us and how proud she was of her family.  

We know she is in Heaven enjoying her Heavenly reunion with her many family and friends.
