Obituary of Stanley Reed Seaton

Stanley “Stan” Reed Seaton passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at 77 years old. Stan was born to Clifton and Marilyn Seaton on December 10, 1945, in Aurora, Illinois. He joined the Navy right out of high school and serviced on the U.S.S. Independence for four years.

Stan enjoyed driving corvettes. He belonged to the Corvette Club, and entered races and car shows for many years. He took up scuba diving and traveled to Florida and Cozumel to pursue his hobby. Stan loved traveling, visiting new places, and making new friends along the way.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Judy Seaton, his children Kim (Dominic) O’Rorke, David (Shelly) Seaton, Andrea Shamblen, Stepchildren Edward (Teresa) Comparon, John Burnett and Troy Burnett. 13 Grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and his sister Peg Daniels, a host of nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and friends.
