Obituary of ROY PATTERSON

Roy Gene Patterson passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born in Sand Springs to Martha (Collins) and Sherman Patterson on December 15, 1944. He married Delores London on July 30, 1966. Roy and his brother, Bill opened State Beauty Supply of Sapulpa in November of 1969. He spent the rest of his working years selling supplies to hair stylist who came to be his friends. Roy retired in 2007 to spend time rebuilding two '57 Chevys. Roy was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He left everyone he met with laughter in their heart. Roy loved his children but adored his grandchildren. It was his mission to spoil them as much as possible. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. Roy is survived by his wife Delores of the home, son, Trini and wife Rhonda Patterson of Sapulpa, daughter, Dana and husband Robert Kerbo of Glenpool, sister, Barbara and husband Billy Lamb of Walla Walla, Washington, brother, Bill and wife Linda of Sapulpa, grandchildren, Sophia, Shelia, Kris, Abby, and Cassidy, close family friends, Robin, Lisa, and Josh Quinnelly, Nieces and nephews, family and many, many friends.
