Obituary of Carol Jean Boaz
Carol Boaz passed from this life on March 6, 2023 at her home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Carol is survived by her son Michael and wife Mistie of Locust Grove; son Rick and wife Kelly of Sapulpa; Daughter Heather and husband Richard of Tulsa; Grandchildren: Shannon Barnett and wife Billie, Emilie and husband Randy Proctor; Chelsey Green and husband Robert; Sidney Bowser and husband Blake; Joshua Barnett and bonus grandson Alexander Eddingfield and wife Vanessa; seven great grandchildren: Arieanna, Michael, Erik, Nicky, Jazmyn, Fenix, Annie, Sunnie, Jaxxin, Lilly Rose and many other beloved family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Agnes Peeks, sister Charlene Alred, sister Phyllis McCollum, brother Joe Peeks and grandson Jimmie Barnett.
Carol was born on September 13, 1948 in Delano, California. Sapulpa was her home for over 50 years where she raised her family. Carol worked for many years helpings others as an employee for the state of Oklahoma DHS and OSBI. Carol was best known for speaking her mind and making sure everyone had a Christmas present, including her famous “big bags” for the grandkids that always included new clothes. She loved traveling, shopping and spending time with her grandkids.
A celebration of life will be held at Green Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.. Pastor Ronny Hardage will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend to celebrate Carol’s life. The family has entrusted the services to Green Hill Funeral Home. 400 E. Teel Rd. 918-224-2312
