Obituary of Evelyn Hill

Evelyn Marie Hill went to be with the Lord on May 3, 2010. She was born to Donald & Cogie Palmer on November 1, 1934 in Calumet, Oklahoma. Evelyn married Charles Lee Hill on April 11, 1953 and they enjoyed 44 years of marriage. Evelyn is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles in 1997 and her sister Oleta Nottbusch. Evelyn is survived by her 3 children Judy Hamlin and husband Mike of Sapulpa; Janet Edington of Tulsa; Charles Hill and wife Melony of Owasso; 2 beloved grandchildren; Justin Hamlin and wife Jill, Jessica Hill of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 2 sisters; LaVonna Iles of Bentonville, Arkansas and Barbara Martin of Carrollton, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Evelyn lived as she was given to hospitality and opened her home to many over the years. Some of Evelyn's favorite things were Church, family, reading the word, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. Evelyn loved her family and friends dearly and prayed for everyone. Evelyn was a great prayer warrior, she touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all. Services will be Thursday May 6, 2010 at 11:00 am at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
