Forever in my heart and always in my mind. I don't even know where to begin in telling some of the stories that I have with you. There's just so many. We were nearly inseparable as kids and then one day you and your mom moved to California and I remember when you came back for the first time to visit (and every time after that), I always gave you a big hug. Then there's the period of our teenage years, where there's just so much to tell, but most of it isn't appropriate for public consumption so we'll keep most of that under wraps. Needless to say we had a really good time most of the time. I was there the day that you met the mother of your daughters. Fast Forward a decade and you were there the day that I met the mother of my sons. We had some of the best inside jokes and I'll laugh at them the rest of my life, but wish that you were there to laugh with me. I will never forget the last time that I saw you and I will always wish that it wasn't the last time. I have no doubt that someday I'll see you again and when I do you best believe I'm going to give you the biggest hug I've ever given anyone. I love you Dusty and I'll see you around sometime.

Here's a couple of pictures from a pretty good day in our youth. Lots of fun and lots of laughs that day.

Dusty, my brotha from anotha motha, Dusty married my sister Kayla on December 29th 2012. At the ripe age of twelve I finally got the big brother I always freakin wanted. Dusty was a jokester, and he had a lot to tell the world and he never let anyone’s opinion or statements stop him. He was strong willed and knew what he wanted. Dusty managed Elite thrift store, and he would always find the coolest oddest stuff and bring it home, some things we still have today. He helped me get my first job at the same thrift store along with Debbie’s help :)
One memory I will never forget one half price sale they had was HUGE and they had a dunk tank, I remember asking my sister if I could do it but she made me ask Dusty and he totally said yeah as long as he could dunk me. Core memories were definitely made that day.
On July 8th 2013 Dusty and Kayla had Dusty Jr., and for everyone there that day I know we can all say Dusty played. The. Part. He was ready for his first boy, I can literally still see him now with the paper cap and paper clothes that swallowed him, sitting on that bench waiting to go back. Might just have to go take that bench from Mercy Hospital..
Dusty had a huge mind, he could be doing one thing one second and then a complete other the next, it was definitely hard to keep up at times but boy was it interesting. He always had so much energy and not a day goes by that I don’t see it in Dusty Jr., Levi and Isaiah. Everyone of us will have a constant memory of him just by looking at his children and grandchildren. May he live on through all of us.
Long live Dustin Bradley.

Dusty was always a hoot to be around. He had a great sense of humor and you can always count on a laugh when he was around. We all struggled with addiction, which is the thing that brought us together. But ultimately it was the thing that bound us together. I'm grateful for our friendship, I'm sorry I didn't get to see him since his incarceration. He will surely be missed by all. I can only hope that Kayla, Debbie, and all the children will find peace soon.
