Obituary of Linda Sue Phillips

Linda Sue Haire Phillips was born February 24, 1943, and went to her heavenly home on May 22, 2023.  She was born in Niles, California, to Odis and Juanita Haire, and had 9 brothers and sisters.  Linda lived the majority of her life in the Owasso/Collinsville area of Oklahoma with her two children, James and Candace.  Linda loved gospel music, road trips where she could enjoy the beautiful scenery, working puzzles, doing crafts, sewing and spending time with her family. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of A Glorious Church Fellowship for 37 years.  Linda was a prayer warrior who taught her children and grandchildren about the importance and power of prayer.  If you knew Linda for any time at all, you were witness to her continual prayers and love-walk.  

Linda was preceded in death by one child, her parents Odis and Juanita Haire, sister Judy Northrup, sister Rita Kay Haire, brother Orville Haire, granddaughter Paizley Jo Choate.  She is survived by her daughter Candace Taylor and husband Jack, son James Phillips and wife Amanda, 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren: Jacqulynn Choate and children Denton and Holden Jack; Kodie Taylor and wife Tiffany and children Aubrey, Caryson, Max, Hannah, and Hunter; Keaton Phillips and fiance Leilani and child Kaila; Brandon Taylor and wife Melissa and children Riley and Ellie; Colby Phillips and wife Jessica and children Grayson and Wyatt; Emily Jackson and wife Jessalyn and child Baby Graham (aka Little Louie); Dillian Taylor and fiance Jessica and children Sophie, Reagan, Jax, Kashton, Hunter and Anakin; Auston Taylor and child Pazley, Gavin Taylor and Taya Marie.   Linda is also survived by 4 brothers: Lenny Haire, Roger Haire, Rusty Haire and Gregory Haire.
