Obituary of Ruby Faye Woods

Ruby Faye Woods was born in Peggs, Oklahoma on May 24, 1927 to parents Tom and Maggie Bruton. She passed away from this life on May 24, 2023 in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma.

Ruby Faye worked many years for Walmart before retiring. She loved attending church, shopping and camping.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Woods; her parents Tom and Maggie Bruton; brothers JD Bruton, Delmar Bruton; Frank Bruton, Ronnie Bruton; Vernon Bruton; Willie Bruton; sister Irene Gurney; daughter in law Shirley Woods; and granddaughter Paula Woods. She is survived by her children Paul Woods, Nina and Truman Rogers, Tommy and Camille Woods, Marsha Jones and Mike Loghry, all of Talihina, Oklahoma; sisters Dora Taylor, Evelyn Bruton, Danny and Yvonne Stringfellow; eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and many more extended family and friends.

Services are in the care of Green Hill Funeral Home.
