Ronald Wayne Cartwright was born to Bobby and Dorothy Cartwright in Tulsa Oklahoma on February 1st 1942. He passed away at the age of 81 on May 30th 2023 at his home in Collinsville Oklahoma.

Ronnie attended school and spent his formative years in Collinsville Oklahoma.  He joined the U.S. Army in 1966, where he served in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1968.

Ronnie lived in California for awhile before moving back to Oklahoma where he remained for the rest of his life.

Ronnie started out working with his father-in-law, Leonard Gaskin, and his brother Johnny doing construction and painting then later owned and operated Cartwright Brothers Appliance Repair until his retirement.

He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and gardening. In his later years he enjoyed going out to eat, yard sales and sitting under the shade trees talking to anyone that wanted to stop and visit.

Ronnie's greatest enjoyment was his family. He hosted a great many family get togethers throughout the years and truly enjoyed any time he could spend with them.

Son Ron Cartwright Jr. and wife Susan, Granddaughter Taylor Robles and her husband Timothy. And several nieces and nephews.
