Obituary of Steven Clayton Bohannon

Steven Clayton Bohannon was born on August 17, 1972, in Tulsa Ok to Sharon and Harvey Bohannon Sr.  He departed this life on May 30, 2023, with his immediate family by his side.

Steven grew up in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and attended Heritage Baptist School and later graduated high school from Bethany Christian Academy.

After high school, Steve resided in Sand Springs.  He was employed at Braum’s for several years where he made many friends along the way.  Steve loved to spend time with his family and friends and especially cherished his weekly dinners with his cousin John.  He also enjoyed playing pool and video games.  Steve loved to be outdoors, working around the yard, or building something.  He could always be found working on a new project.

At family gatherings, Steve was the life of the party.  He would always have everyone laughing.  Steve was very caring and found great satisfaction in being able to help people.  His last act of kindness was giving hope to others through his gracious gift of being an organ donor.

Steven is survived by his parents, mother, Sharon Todd-Saxton and husband Dave; Harvey Bohannon Sr. and bonus mom Barbara Bohannon; his brother Harvey Bohannon Jr. and wife Jamie; aunt, Carolyn Ward and husband Rick; nephew, Brandon Bohannon and wife Amber; niece, Melissa Sattre and husband Jeff; nephew, Braden Byford and wife Britta; nephew, Drake Moffitt and wife Sydney; cousin Sarah Cardenas and husband Alfredo; cousin Pamela Sawicki and husband Peter; cousin, Johnathon Ward and wife Abby; he is also survived by many other out of state, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Steven was proceeded in death by his grandparents; Grady and Viola Williams, Ira and Eileen Bohannon; aunt, Virginia Williams; uncle, Bill Bohannon; and nephew, Hunter Bohannon.

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Woodland Memorial Cemetery in Sand Springs with interment to follow. Visitation is at Green Hill Funeral Home on Monday, June 5^th from 6-8 pm. Arrangements are in the care of Green Hill Funeral Home.
