John Willard Fissel Sr.was born June 17, 1919 in myrtle Missouri Oldest of 5 children. Served in the Army during World War II from 1944 to 1946 as a staff sergeant. John went into the oil and gas business in 1967 and retired in 1981 at the age of 62. John went into ranching full time with his son John in Mounds, Oklahoma.
John is survived by his loving wife Pollie of 63 years; 2 sons; John and Jim of Mounds, Oklahoma and 1 daughter; Temple Shaw of Tulsa, 2 daughter-in-laws; Judy and Kym. 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
