Obituary of David Craig Jackson
David Craig Jackson passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on June 16th, 2023 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was 31 years young.
Born February 5th, 1992 to Robert and Francesca Jackson in Bellflower, California. He grew up in Compton, California along with his older sister Kristin. He attended school at Children’s University and First Christian until later moving to Ponca City, Oklahoma in 2003 with his mother and sister. He went on to graduate from Ponca City High School in 2010. After moving to Owasso, Oklahoma in 2010 he attended Tulsa Community College. Then went on to obtain a Certificate of Completion from Tulsa Welding School in 2020.
Early in life one of his favorite hobbies was driving and designing go-karts with his dad Robert. He played football, basketball and baseball. He wrestled throughout High School. He was a member/officer of FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) where he received mentoring/guidance from Helen Coleman whom he thought highly of.
David had a strong work ethic and held various positions over the years with Braums, Americorp, Logan’s Roadhouse, Red Robin, Classic Chevrolet, Bill Knight-Tulsa, BAMA, and the City of Tulsa. He was instrumental in creating and elevating OCD (Oklahoma Car Detailing) which is located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma with his business partner and best friend Blake Foster.
David was an amazing person inside and out. His greatest joy in life was his beautiful children Caleb and Olivia. His charismatic personality and passion to help others would brighten a person’s day. The impact he had in many people’s lives and the legacy he leaves behind will live on forever and he will be deeply missed.
David is survived by his loving mother Francesca Jackson, his father Robert Jackson; his sister’s Kristin, Robaynee, and BreAnna Jackson; his older brother’s Robert “Juan” and Robert James Jackson Jr. His beautiful children Caleb and Olivia Jackson. His nieces Kalani, Keonna, Nyliah, Nyomi, and Kali; his nephews James, Nathan, Jonah, and Royal. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Will and Helen Jackson; and his maternal grandparents Craig and Myrtle Roberts.
