Maria Angeles Hernandez was born on March 21, 1958, in El Paso, Texas. Daughter of Jose H Hernandez & Luz Maria Duran. She grew up and lived in El Paso for many years. She was the firstborn of all her siblings Maria Beeler, Lulu Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Monica Hernandez, Mickey Hernandez, and Louie Hernandez & Leslie Nease. They all spent their childhood creating memorable times before they all later had families of their own.
Maria had 3 children, Melissa Hernandez, Luis Flores Jr. & Zara Flores before moving to Oklahoma. In 2008 be close to her children.
Maria passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 26th at the age of 65 years old.
Maria lived in the Tulsa metroplex from 2008 until moving to Kiefer in 2022.
Maria loved to bake and cook, she always said she cooked the best Mexican food. She was a genius in the kitchen. Always making sure you never leave hungry. She made the best birthday cakes. Maria always enjoyed going to the movies and attending rock-n-roll concerts in her younger days. She loved to watch the prices right; this was her favorite game show. Maria also enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Crawford, Parents, Joe, and Luz Hernandez: Her brother Louie Hernandez; sister Lulu Hernandez. She is survived by her children Melissa, Luis & Zara(and their families); her grandchildren Kaden, Evanna, Luis III, Phoenix, Douglas, Penelope, and Jose, her remaining siblings and many other loved ones.
The viewing will be held at Green Hill Funeral Home on Monday, July 3rd at 11 a.m. followed by cremation.
