Obituary of Mary Lee Hunt

Mary Lee (Allen) Hunt was born on October 29, 1932 to G.W. “Bill” Allen and Winnie A. Allen, in Lebanon, Missouri. The family moved from Missouri in 1943 to Kellyville, Oklahoma. She graduated from Kellyville High School in 1950. She had perfect school attendance for 12 years. Mary loved gardening, canning, and raising Dachshunds. She loved her family and spending time with them. She took her first steps in her new home, Heaven, July 28, 2023, at the age of 90.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Carol Harman, and son, Ron Gadd, granddaughter Alexandria Buff, father, G.W. “Bill” Allen, mother, Winnie A. Allen, a brother, Raymond Allen, a sister, Margie Gray, daughter-in-law, Nancy Buff, and partner in life, Mack Eubanks.

She is survived by her son Fred Buff and his wife Pam of Collinsville, OK, son Alan Buff of Sapulpa, OK, son Cecil Buff and his wife Kim of Olathe, KS, son-in-law Rick Harman of Ponca City, OK, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great, great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Joe Dale Allen and wife Billie of Collinsville, OK, sisters Maxine English of Sapulpa, OK, Ellen Roberts of Miami, OK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She loved them all!

Visitation will be held at Green Hill Funeral Home from 5 – 8 pm on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. Funeral services are at 10:30 on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Green Hill Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Kent officiating. She will be laid to rest in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
