Dorothy Irene (McKinzie) Cochran passed away August 4, 2023 at the age of 81. Dorothy was born on May 20, 1942 in Patterson, California to Carl and Ruth (Troutman) McKinzie.

 

Dorothy met her husband Charles Cochran at the Tee Pee Drive In in Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1957. The couple was married on March 1, 1958 and had 3 children. The couple shared 44 years together before his passing on October 17, 2002.

 

Dorothy enjoyed oil painting, playing cards, swimming in the pool, gardening and growing flowers. She was very creative and enjoyed crafting. She could make anything.

 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ruth McKinzie; and husband Charles Cochran. She is survived by her son Denny Cochran and wife Penny; daughter Sherry Cochran and Karla Koester; and daughter Rona Cochran and Calvin Leflore; grandchildren Cara Eubanks and husband Calvin; Brandon Cochran and wife Stephanie; Charles Johnson and Kallie Henry; great-grandchildren Nicholas Harman and Talmadge Thompson Smythe; and Skyler Cochran; and one great, great-granddaughter Wren Ellie Harmon.
