Delane Doyle was born in American Fork, UT on September 1, 1937 to John and Martha (Street) Doyle.  He passed away at his residence in Claremore, OK on Monday, August 14, 2023 from a lengthy illness and resulting complications.

Delane was married to Roxey Clements on August 1, 1959 and never stopped loving her.  Even after her subsequent remarriage, he always looked out for her well-being both emotionally and financially and was her best friend.  He leaves behind three children:  Stephen (Michele) Doyle in Frederick, MD; DeAnna (Phil) Avey in Owasso, OK; and Kimberly Doyle Haws in Oologah, OK.  He also had 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He served 4 years in the United States Air Force prior to transitioning to Civil Service.  During his career in the U.S. Government, he worked his way up from avionics specialist to acquisition management and was able to retire at the age of 55.  His career took him to Germany for 2 years and he has also had residences in Utah, Texas, and Oklahoma.  During his retirement, he assisted DeAnna as a baker for her bakeries in both Houston and Owasso for 10 years.

His hobbies and interests included camping, fishing, scuba diving and traveling all over the world.  He has been on a charter trip in Australia to map the great barrier reef, salmon fishing in Alaska among many family vacations throughout the years to multiple locations.  He was also an avid artist and dabbled in music.

He was from a large family consisting of 4 Brothers and 3 Sisters.  He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha, brothers Jack (Doreen) Doyle, Don (Billy) Doyle and sister, Katherine Ann Devey.  Remaining siblings include Robert (Verlyn) Doyle, Paul (MaryAnn) Doyle, Karren (Dale) Mitchell, Loraine (John) Worthen.

Delane had a generous nature, a big heart and a quirky sense of humor that would leave perfect strangers with a smile on their face.  He was loved by many and will leave behind great memories of the man, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend he was to so many.
