Kathryn was my dearest friend from grade school on. I spent many hours at her family's home. The entire family was special and kind. My mother Juanita Childress and Kathryn's mother were close friends and Campfire leaders and PTA leaders together in our younger years. I am so sorry that I did not hear of her death until after the funeral. She will always have a place in my heart. My God bless her family and comfort them.
