Shirley Lucille Kight Obituary

Shirley Lucille Kight was born on December 11, 1948, in Wilson, Oklahoma to Walter Lee and Iva Lucille Loyd. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 4, 2023.

Shirley was always a loving woman who devoted her life to her family. After the passing of her sister Bessie, she stepped up for her nieces and nephews without hesitation. She loved going thrift shopping, reading the bible, and always looked forward to visits from her son.

Shirley’s number one priority was always her son, Bobby. She adored her cat Missy, whom she believed was an angel. Family members often have different opinions about “Missy the cat” because she was so protective over Shirley.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Debbie Green, her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her son and best friend Bobby Green of Panama City Beach, FL, grandson Coby Green of Tulsa, OK, granddaughter Mikayla Massey-Warren and husband Chad, great grandchildren Emmah Warren, Abigail Warren, Wyatt Warren, and Maveryk Warren all of Tulsa, OK, sister Wilma Allen and husband Gary of Kellyville, OK, sister Lillie Boeckman and husband Greg of Inola, OK, brother Jimmy (Pete) Loyd of Okmulgee, OK, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Shirley will ALWAYS be remembered by her big smile, unique laugh and her heart of gold.
