Obituary of Christopher Paul Reed

Christopher Paul Reed was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 16, 1971 to Paula Sue Morrow and Phillip Paul Reed. Chris left us here on Earth to be with his heavenly Father on December 5, 2023 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was 52 years old.

Chris spent his time while young, working at grocery stores sacking groceries, and he worked for Bios in Sapulpa. He enjoyed art, music, and dancing. He always had the biggest smile on his face and always stayed positive, no matter what the situation. Upon hearing the news about his lung cancer, he never got angry, cursed God or anyone else. He took the news very well and reminded us to stay positive. He chose not to prolong the inevitable with chemo or radiation. He was more interested in getting back involved with his loved ones and boy did he have many.

Chris was a natural born artist. He was completely satisfied just having his cigarettes, Pepsi, and a friendly face to conversate with. I am sure Chris would want us to take with us his uncanny ability to accept life on life’s terms, stay positive and smile because Chris had the most beautiful smile that would light the dark.

Chris is survived by his mother Paula Sue Morrow; sisters Anna Jo Melton and Tera Kester; and brother Elisha Contreras; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather Terry Contreras and his granny Pauline Little.
