Obituary of Sharon K Bernard

In Loving Memory Sharon Kay (Holt) Bernard July 3rd, 1955 - December 29th, 2023 Sharon Kay (Holt) Bernard, 68, of Sand Springs, passed away on Friday, December 29th, 2023 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Sharon was born on July 3rd, 1955, in Merced, California to Jack Holt and Patricia Holt Davis, the second of five children. Sharon graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1973. She had a shy personality but was remembered for being pretty, creative and having a passion for art. Sharon went on to art school and won awards with her drawings. Her appreciation of art was life-long. In her later years, her interests included painting, drawing, gardening in her small greenhouse, caring for her cat, and watching fun old movies. Although Sharon endured medical challenges throughout her life, she was kind, enjoyed visits with family, and loved exchanging Christmas gifts. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Stephenie Craite Roberts and partner Chad Hawks of Jenks, OK; son Christopher Matts of Yukon, OK; son Aston York and wife Kayla of Grove, OK; mother Patricia Holt Davis of Sand Springs, OK; sister Jacque Darland and husband Danny of Sapulpa, OK; sister Elizabeth Kallenberger and Todd of Claremore, OK; brother Michael Holt and wife Vicky of Valley View, TX; brother Wesley Holt and wife Janet of Collinsville, OK as well as grandchildren, cousins, many nieces, and nephews. Sharon is preceded in death by her father Jack Holt, grandparents L.F. and Ruth Matts. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 12th, at 2pm at the Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Sapulpa.
