Obituary of Rebecca Ann Wyatt

Rebecca Ann Wyatt, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 4, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born September 2, 1939, in West Plains, Missouri to Athol and Johnnie King (Welch).
She was united in marriage to Vadon Donald Wyatt on Oct 5, 1957, in Viola, Arkansas. They were married for 65 years. They had two children William (Bill) and Susan. When their lives began, she was a homemaker before starting a career as a secretary for the Scott Orbison Company. Later followed him to the Tulsa County Election Board, where she worked as an election official until she retired. She was a long-time member of Will Rogers Church, and most recently became a member of Asbury where she quickly became involved in the church.
She was survived by her daughter Susan Wyatt of Tulsa, her children: Haylee Wyatt of Tulsa, William “Braige” Wyatt of Tulsa; Her son William “Bill” Wyatt and wife Bridget of Collinsville, their children: Jordan Hillyard and wife Cari of Collinsville, and Joshua Carver of Owasso. Her great-grandchildren: (Bill and Bridget’s grandchildren) Adalyn Hillyard and Elijah Hillyard of Collinsville. She was also survived by her brother Al King and wife Frances of Marion, Arkansas, a host of very special cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Athol and Johnnie King, Her husband Vadon, her sister-in-law Linda King, and several aunts, uncles.
The family would like to thank all of you for the kind words, prayers, and displays of love and affection that all of you have Blessed us with in our time of grief. Rebecca (Becky) had a zest for life that was unmatched by anyone. She fiercely loved her family, and they will forever be changed by the loss of her light.
Services are Saturday, Feb 10th at 11:00am Asbury Church 6767 S. Mingo Road Tulsa, OK.
