Willard Dee Burkhammer, 88, has left this world to meet Jesus Christ. Willard was born on October 26, 1921, Willard passed on June 28, 2010. Willard is preceded in death by his mother and father and twin brother Wilbur. Willard loved the Lord and supported church efforts throughout his life. For many years, Willard gave a great amount of time to the "Big Brothers" organization, helping to establish a good foundation for boys from fatherless families. Willard served in the Army during World War II as Technician Fifth Grade in the 490th Reinforcement Company, and was deployed to Rhineland and Central Europe; He was a sharpshooter. Willard is survived by brother; John L. Burkhamer and wife Betty; nieces Debbie Stubblefield and husband Larry, Linda Dolby and husband Jeff, Tami Covey and husband David and daughter Cydney; nephews; Aaron Stubblefield and children Baylee and Conor; Jarrod Stubblefield and wife Bridgett and son Landon; cousins; Marylou Dillman and family of Sapulpa; Loren Ray Beesley and family of Sand Springs; Patty Watson and husband Harold of Kansas City and Shirley Lyons of Rodgers, Arkansas. Pallbearers; Richard Fogle, Eugene Dale, Larry Day, Aaron Stubblefield, Jeff Dolby and Honorary Pallbearer; Hugh Dawson.
