Obituary of Roger Lee Ingram

It is with much sadness and comfort, we announce that our father, Uncle, brother, has passed away, after a lengthy illness, on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Roger was born on March 11, 1945 to Harold S. Ingram and Elsie Viola Carlson in Camp Rucker, Dale County, Alabama, where Harold was stationed while in the US Army.
Roger himself enlisted in the US Army and was honorably discharged.
Roger later married Carolyn Behar and they have two sons, Jerry Dean and Dale Lee Ingram.
Roger is survived by his son Dale; a sister-in-law, Connie (Ed) Riffel; daughter-in-law Trisha Ingram; brothers Mike (Gloria) Ingram; Jack Ingram; nephews Tony (Teresa) Ingram; Charles (Stacy) Ingram; Jason Ingram; Donnie (Sherri) Kitchen, Shawn (Susan) Kitchen, Todd (Christy) Kitchen; Mike (Lisa) Riffel and Kurt (Shelly) Riffel and a niece, Megan Younge; Aunts Jeri Lane, Barbara Yowell and numerous family and friends.
Roger’s life and what he cherished and celebrated, will continue to be remembered by many.
Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn in Sept. 2023 and his parents, Harold Ingram and Elsie Viola Carlson; his brother Spencer Ingram; a sister Diane Calvert and Roger’s son, Jerry Dean Ingram.
The family of Roger Ingram would like to express their gratitude and appreciation of making Roger’s end time with us, as comfortable as they did, to the doctors, the nurses, and the ICU ward of Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, we thank you for your care and attention.
There will be a private gathering to remember Roger at a later date. Roger is under the direction and care of the staff at Green Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, where he and Carolyn will be laid to rest.
