Obituary of Virgil Lee Nigh

Virgil Lee Nigh, 86 , passed on from this life to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, February 23, 2023 at home where he lived with his sister Freda. He was born on January 7, 1938 to Earl Oren and Earline Lois Nigh in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Alpha Nigh and Lena Listen and Logan Pool, parents Earl and Earline Nigh, brother Lonnie Nigh of Texas, sister Billie L. Williams of California, sister Barbara Sue Biddy of Texas, and baby sister Lois Nigh of Oklahoma.

He is survived by sisters Freda Cates of Sapulpa, Corrine Grubbs of Kiefer, brother James Nigh of Texas, many nieces, nephews and cousins all over Oklahoma and Texas.

Virgil was a very spiritual man. He loved the Lord with all his might and would always pray for you. He enjoyed singing, playing his guitar and harmonica, playing cards and spending time with his family. Virgil held a special place in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be missed dearly.
