Obituary of Christine Lynette Wasson-Deatherage

Christine Lynette Wasson, 51 of Sapulpa,Ok, Went home to be with the Lord on March 5,2024 at St. John’s hospital in Tulsa, Ok. Christy was born December 23, 1972, to Deborah Wilson & Richard Wasson, both of Prattville.

She had two brothers whom she was loved and supported by; Mike & Justin Wasson. She graduated from Sapulpa high school in 1991. She worked as the office coordinator at Harvard Family Physicians for twelve years, & Shant’e Enterprises for 7 years as an Inventory control clerk.  She made many lifelong friendships that she cherished.

She enjoyed crafting, being a mom & meme, and riding motorcycles.

She gave birth to three girls, Brittany Wasson, Brandace Jewell, & Sarah Greer who were her greatest blessings along with her grandchildren, Kayden Hudon, Jaxson Hawley, Ayden Bible, Brantlee Nickles, Jacelynn Hawley, Henslie & Breckyn Nickles & was looking forward to welcoming her newest granddaughter Chloe Bible.

She was a loving aunt to Shelbi & Malachi & Justin Jr. Wasson & Destiny Harper and a great aunt to their children. She is survived by her 3 girls, Brittany, Brandace, & Sarah, her mother Deborah Wilson, & her two brothers Mike & Justin Wasson.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Charles Martin who cared for her in the final days of her life, as well as her best friend Sam Hunter who she made many wonderful memories with.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Neil “Catfish” Richmond, her father Richard Clyde Wasson, Gerald Greer, and her biggest supporter Frances Richmond, her Granny, and her granddaughter Breckyn Jo Nickles.

The family would like to thank everyone who was there during the good and bad times.

She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
