Obituary of Lori Denise Lusk Rovenstine

Please share a memory of Lori to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lori Denise Lusk Rovenstine passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at the age of 57 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lori was diagnosed with cancer nearly four years ago and faced her illness with bravery and strength. Throughout her treatment, she remained positive and focused on the things that brought her joy - especially her many grandchildren.

Lori was born on September 15, 1966 in Houston, TX and grew up in Sapulpa, OK, attending Sapulpa High School. There she spent many summers laughing at the lake and undoubtedly getting into mischief with her cousins.

In 2017, Lori happily married Joel Rovenstine, her partner for almost 25 years.

Lori also had a strong love for animals, often accompanied everywhere by her Yorkie, Tito. But above all, family was everything to her and she gave her time, love, and attention freely, without condition. You could always expect a delivery of the most healing chicken noodle soup when you were sick.

Lori was preceded in death by her dad Winfred Lusk and mom Margaret Lusk. She is survived by her husband, Joel; daughters Brittney Lusk of Moore, OK; Megan Neal of Edwards, CA; Kirsten Swain, of Claremore, OK; and nine incredible grandchildren.

Loved by so many, her bright smile and outgoing personality will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Friday April 19th at 10:30am at the Greenhill Funeral Home in Sapulpa, OK.
