Joseph Edward Mercy, Joe to his family and friends, passed away at his home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on April 5, 2024.
Joe was born to Patsy and Frank Mercy in New Underwood, South Dakota on February 20, 1961. He grew up in Rapid City, SD.
Everyone who knows Joe knows about his love for dogs, his artistic talents, his love of family and his undying passion for everything car related.
Joe was preceded in death by his son, Little Joe, his father Frank Mercy, his brother Jim Mercy, nephew, Allen Mercy and his longtime partner, Linda Esmond.
Along with numerous nephews, nieces and cousins, Joe leaves behind his mother, Patsy Mercy, Rapid City, SD, two sisters, Diana Birch, Minneapolis, MN, Terry Kiefer, Houston, TX, three brothers, Butch Mercy, Camden, AR, Martin Mercy, Bearden, AR, and Tim Mercy, Spearfish, SD.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Joe’s honor, details are pending at this time.
