Obituary of Susan Marene Harris

Susan Marene Harris passed from this life on April 16, 2024, at the age of 78.

Susan was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1945 to James and Marene Monroe. Later, she married her sweetheart Rodger Harris, and they moved to Oklahoma where they spent many years. She then moved back to Alabama to take care of her ailing mother. After she passed, she returned to Oklahoma where she lived out her remaining years.

Susan was retired and living her best life. Her favorite thing to do was cook and entertain her friends, having many meals and occasions celebrated at her home.

She is survived by her son, Lee Harris and wife Lori, and her four grandchildren Nick, Taylor, Jack and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her previous husband, Rodger Harris, brother James Monroe Jr and her parents James Monroe and Marene Fassina.
