Paul Glen Martin, 74, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away on May 30, 2024 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma when he lost the fight of a long term illness.

He was born on August 6, 1949, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to parents John Alfred Martin and Bertha Mae (Turner) Martin. He had 6 siblings, Bobby, John, James and Charles Martin and Wanda Abbot and Bea Bettes.

He lived in Sapulpa his whole life, where he was self employed and owned Sapulpa Truck Rebuilders. He loved fishing, going for rides, cards and putting models together.

 

Paul had many achievements; NRA Fraternal Order of Police, US Army Sergeant, Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 2 Overseas Bars, Expert M-16, AND A Gallantly Cross/Palm.

Paul went to school where it was uphill both ways. He was very fun, he was a great dad, and he loved his grandbabies. His children say “We wouldn’t be who we are without this man.”

He is survived by his children, Dawn, Brandi, and Bobby Martin, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
