Obituary of Anna Cooper
Zeldena was born on November 20, 1939, in Kiefer, Oklahoma to her parents Otis and Lottie Blair. She went all twelve years of school at Kiefer Public Schools. After graduating in 1957, she went on to have a successful career as an executive secretary for two major trucking companies in the Tulsa area and she spent 10 years at Jenks Public Schools. In 1971, she was named Miss Transportation. She has also attended Kiefer First Christian Church for 70 years. Many of those years she served as church organist, special singer, Sunday school teacher, and secretary/treasurer.
She married Douglas T. Cooper in the summer of 1965. They were married for almost 44 years before Doug’s sudden death in 2009. During that time, they raised four children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Doug, her parents Otis and Lottie Blair, her brothers, Lee and Jimmy Blair and her son, Jim Gosney.
She is survived by her daughter Adena and husband Terry Pregler, her daughter Cathy Cooper, her stepson Allen and wife Cindy Cooper. Also, her grandchildren, Celsy Cooper and fiance’ Chad Courtney, Jamie Gosney, Julie Gosney, Erich Pregler, Katie and Gates Burris, and Jessica and Kenny Moon. Great-grandchildren, Letti Burris, Emalee Grace Salazar, Esmay, Ella, and Easton Moon.
